This Wednesday, June 15, from 6 - 8pm Principal Jeffry Burchard will be hosting a Boston Society for Architecture panel discussion on the future of professional practice and how it’s taught in architecture schools. Jeffry will be joined by panelists, Beth Lundell Garver AIA, Dean and Faculty of Practice; Director of Applied Learning, at The BAC; Elizabeth B. Christoforetti, Founding Principal at Supernormal and Assistant Professor in Practice of Architecture, at Harvard GSD; and Jeremy B. Munn AIA, Program Director for Facilities, Design and Construction, at Northeastern.
From the BSA: “This event is the first of three Summer Sessions, a forum that will bring together architecture faculty from across Boston to discuss pedagogies and how their students, courses, and schools are engaging with, innovating in, and changing the field of architecture.”
“This series is meant for students, faculty, practicing architects and firm leaders, and all those interested in what architectural education in Boston is today and how it might affect the field tomorrow.”
The discussion will be held in-person at BSA Space, with remote accommodations upon request. RSVP, here: https://www.architects.org/events/482642/2022/06/15/summer-sessions-professional-practice
