DAM Sweeps the Awards

Over the past two months, the Denver Art Museum, Martin Building Expansion and Revitalization project has been recognized with a number of awards:

The American Architecture Award | The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture and Design
Design Award of Excellence | AIA Colorado
Merit Award | AIA New England
Downtown Denver Award | Downtown Denver Partnership
Community Preservation Award | Historic Denver


In September, the project received an AIA Colorado, Design Award of Excellence. In early October, the project was recognized with an AIA New England Award, which Principal, Stephanie Randazzo Dwyer and Associate, Emily Ashby accepted on behalf of the office and team. More recently, the project received the prestigious American Architecture Award from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture and Design

The project has also received special local recognition of its impact on the city with a Downtown Denver Award, which “celebrates those who are making downtown Denver more Distinctive, Diverse, Green, Walkable, and Prosperous”; and a Historic Denver, Community Preservation Award, for the sensitive renovation of the Gio Ponti-designed Martin Building.
