This October, Machado Silvetti partner, Jeffry Burchard will be presenting some of his more curvy Machado Silvetti projects at a number of venues. His presentation will touch on: the science and effects of curvature in architecture, riffing off the eccentricities of existing buildings in renovation and expansion projects, controlling geometric complexity in order to ensure constructability, and working with teams of engineers, fabricators, and contractors to optimize existing processes to achieve new and economically viable results.
