Damian Bolden, AIA
Damian Bolden is an Associate at Machado Silvetti, managing design and documentation for various projects. He has recently worked on the New Bedford Whaling Museum, the Cedar Street Parking Deck, and a series of projects for the Office of Overseas Building Operations.
Damian is an instructor at the Boston Architectural College teaching concepts of context and specificity in an urban design and architectural studio to second-year students. With experience in varied cultural projects, he has an interest in how architecture can connect and create spaces for diverse and historically disjointed communities by seeking common and collective notions of the “spectacle.”
He holds a Master of Architecture II from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where he also served as the Vice-President of the African American Student Union. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Auburn University College of Architecture, Design, and Construction from which he has both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Interior Architecture.
