Join us on Wednesday, October 15, at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD) for a conversation with Jorge Silvetti on his new book, Large, Lasting, & Inevitable.
Large, Lasting, &
Inevitable
Together with GSD professors Erika Naginski, Scott Cohen, and Sarah Whiting, the discussion will reflect on insights garnered across Jorge’s five-decade career through the lens of his newest publication. Spanning from the 1970s to the present, the collection brings together engaging conversations and selected writings authored by Jorge that illuminate foundational moments in contemporary architectural thought. Jorge is the founding partner of Machado Silvetti as well as the Nelson Robinson, Jr. Professor of Architecture, Emeritus, at the Harvard GSD. Hosted by the Frances Loeb Library, the event will take place from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m and is free and open to the public.
