We are optimists, believing that architecture has so much to offer the world and that the practice of architecture and the buildings that we design can improve our individual and collective lives, giving people a place where they can feel good about the world that we live in together.
We are time-travelers, inspired by history and looking to the future, designing buildings that are timeless, rooted in the stories and reasons that bring them into existence while remaining open to be seen, used, and understood in new and unimaginable ways.
We are thinkers and tinkerers, innovating in our practice and our process, in the technology that we use and the constructions that we detail, working with expert collaborators to achieve ambitious and unprecedented results.
We are fact-finders, looking deeply into all that influences a project’s outcome, especially the local culture, climate and community, meshing these inputs into coherent concepts that are foundational to design.
We are realists, confronting contemporary challenges of climate change, social equity, building regulations, rising cost-of-construction, and respect for the value of our time and expertise, navigating these complexities through logical processes and intentional design.
